Adults 65+
Aging brings many changes, and while there can be wisdom, freedom, and growth that come with this stage of life, it can also involve loss, uncertainty, and emotional challenges.
Many individuals over 65 find themselves coping with the loss of friends and loved ones, changes in work or retirement, shifting living situations, increased physical limitations, medical concerns, or the responsibilities of caring for others. In the midst of these transitions, it is easy to lose sight of yourself and your own needs.
As we grow older, we may also begin reflecting on our lives with regrets, unresolved pain, or questions about the choices we have made along the way. Part of the healing process is learning how to move beyond those regrets with self-compassion and creating a life that still feels meaningful, fulfilling, and true to who you are.
There may still be many fulfilling years ahead, and together we can explore how you want to live this next chapter while creating the best quality of life possible for yourself.
Childhood Trauma / Inner Child Work
Childhood Trauma and growing up in highly dysfunctional families can leave lasting emotional wounds that often follow us into adulthood. Healing begins when we learn how to reconnect with ourselves, nurture the parts of us that were neglected, and begin the process of reparenting ourselves with compassion, empathy, patience, and kindness.
Inner Child Work allows us to better understand our emotional needs and learn how to meet those needs in healthy, mature ways without abandoning our authentic selves. In my opinion, this is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself, because you only have one life and one relationship with yourself — and you are the one person who will be with you throughout your entire journey.
"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive that is Youer than You!"
— Dr. Seuss
Recovery / Addiction
Recovery from addiction is about more than simply stopping a behavior — it is about understanding the deeper emotional pain, trauma, stress, or unmet needs that may have led to self-medicating in the first place.
I enjoy working with individuals who are ready to explore the underlying causes of their addiction with honesty, compassion, and curiosity. Recovery is a journey that often requires ongoing support, self-awareness, and healthier coping skills to prevent relapse and break repetitive patterns.
No one should have to navigate that process alone, and healing becomes possible when we begin addressing not only the addiction itself, but the emotional wounds beneath it.
Grief
The loss of a loved one can be one of the most painful and difficult experiences we face in life. Grief can bring an overwhelming range of emotions, and having support during the healing process can help normalize those feelings and remind you that you do not have to navigate them alone.
Whether you are grieving the loss of a family member, close friend, or beloved pet, the pain can feel profound and deeply personal. At times, it may feel difficult to imagine moving forward while carrying such heartbreak.
Yet even in the midst of grief, there is still life to be lived, connections to be made, love to be shared, and moments of meaning and joy still waiting to be experienced. Healing does not mean forgetting; it means learning how to carry your loss while continuing to live your life as fully and authentically as possible.
Life Transitions
Life is filled with constant change, and while some transitions are easier to navigate, others can feel overwhelming and deeply emotional. Whether you are transitioning into adulthood, marriage, divorce, going off to college, coping with the loss of a loved one, experiencing changes in a career or job loss, transitioning into retirement, or sending your children off into the world, each new chapter can bring uncertainty as well as opportunity for growth.
Times of transition often invite us to reflect on who we are, what we value, and how we want to move forward in our lives. Learning to navigate these changes with support, self-awareness, and compassion can help create a greater sense of meaning, resilience, and direction for the next stage of your journey.

Relationships
I enjoy helping those who wish for a better connection with another — or with themselves. Having the tools to communicate one's needs, wants, expectations, and desires are important in any relationship. However, we may not always know what we truly want, or we may feel unable or afraid to communicate what we want to another.
Therefore, I help my clients explore what they truly want and introduce new techniques of communicating in order to connect more successfully with others in their lives.
