"Getting to I Do"...
A Premarital Counseling Program

Congratulations on getting engaged!

Now comes the fun part… getting to I do! Actually, getting there is fairly easy and I can offer some suggestions to help decrease any anxiety and increase the fun! But the challenges usually come after the "I do".

People marry for different reasons. There are a few things that almost everybody names, if you ask them, of what they want from marriage. But it doesn't really matter what other people want out of marriage. Different people want different things. What matters now is what do you want? And what does your Fiancé want?

Marriage Involves:

Love

Companionship

Communication

Financial Support

Comforts of Home

Intimacy

Children

Through my time working with couples, I discovered that the biggest issues are often the unspoken expectations and resulting disappointment that a person may experience within their relationship. I have found that the most successful couples are those who have a clear understanding of their own and each other's expectations and have come to a working compromise within their relationship… as well as a good sense of humor and heart full of understanding and love. I would be honored to share what I have learned, in order for you two to gain deeper understanding and commitment to yourselves, each other and your marriage.

With this in mind, I have developed a Premarital Counseling Program to work with couples to identify any conscious and/or unconscious expectations they may have, before saying "I do"… in order to increase the likelihood of a happily ever after.

My Premarital Counseling Program usually is 3-6 sessions long, depending on how quickly we get through the different aspects of the program.

If I may be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out!
